Burns' Night (JANUARY 2027) - Featured on “Events 2026-2027” on the IBIZA CONCORDIA LODGE No. 44 website. This event is planned as a formal lodge social evening celebrating Scottish heritage and Robert Burns, with an organised itinerary, ceremonial elements, and opportunities for fellowship. The tradition started a few years after the poet’s death in 1796, when his friends commemorated his career on the date of his death (July 21) each year. So began the Burns Supper, and more than two centuries later it has become a remarkable event, with recitals of the poet's works and a haggis dinner.
As part of the traditional Burns Night supper on the evening there are haggis, ‘neeps and tatties’ and whisky and wine besides. The format of the celebration have all of the essential details required for a wonderful Burn’s Night celebration.
The evening is part of the social activities of Ibiza Concordia Lodge No.44 which has already begun to have an impact in terms potential membership. In addition, it is an opportunity to raise hundreds of euros for the yearly Charity cause of our Lodge.
